CONNECT is a partnership of public higher education institutions in Southeastern Massachusetts: Bridgewater State University, Bristol Community College, Cape Cod Community College, Massasoit Community College, and the Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
One of CONNECT's main goals is to improve the quality, accessibility, and affordability of higher education in Southeastern Massachusetts. We want to make it easy for students to transfer college credit from one institution to another, or to move from a two-year to a four-year degree.
Students matriculating in fall 2009, as well as currently enrolled students, may accumulate courses leading toward the completion of an associate degree eligible for MassTransfer or the MassTransfer General Education Foundation. The policy benefits apply to students who plan to transfer for the fall 2010 semester or later. For more information visit:

Leveraging the quality, strength, resources and excellence of the six public higher education institutions of CONNECT, it is our mission to enhance educational effectiveness and efficiency while improving student success, increasing educational attainment, advancing economic health, and strengthening cultural life throughout the region.
In June 0f 2012, the president and chancellor of the CONNECT colleges and universities in Southeastern Massachusetts-- Bristol, Cape Cod, and Massasoit Community Colleges, Bridgewater State University, and University of Massachusetts Dartmouth—signed an agreement to establish a program known as Reverse Transfer.
Students who transfer to BSU or UMD from one of the region's community colleges (BCC, CCCC, or MCC) may be eligible to receive their associate's degree using credits earned as they pursue their bachelor's degree.
If you wish to explore whether Reverse Transfer is right for you:
For more information, visit the BSU or the UMD Transfer Websites.
SAVE BIG MONEY...By completing your first two years of higher education at a community college (vs. a state college or university) you can save an estimated $5,000 - $14,000.
Presidents' Transfer Program scholars who graduate from a community college with a minimum GPA of 3.0, and maintain that 3.0 GPA at the four-year school, will receive a 33% reduction of in-state tuition for their first two years at the CONNECT state colleges and universities.
The same tuition discounts can be earned by students in the MassTransfer program.
In addition, the following scholarships are offered to graduates of Bristol Community College, Cape Cod Community College, and Massasoit Community College entering Bridgewater State University, Massachusetts Maritime Academy, and the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
