Computing is the process of using computer technology to complete a given goal-oriented task. Computing may encompass the design and development of software and hardware systems for a broad range of purposes (often structuring, processing and managing any kind of information) to aid in the pursuit of scientific studies, making intelligent systems, and creating and using different media for entertainment and communication.
Computing has also been defined as a branch of engineering science that deals with the systematic study of algorithmic processes, which are used to describe and transform information. It also has specific meanings depending on the context and field in which it is used. For example, cloud computing, social computing, ubiquitous computing, parallel computing and grid computing all fall under the umbrella of the general meaning of computing while still having a specific purpose and definition separate from each other. Essentially, these are different applications of computing.
Mathematics. The science of structure, order, and relation that has evolved from elemental practices of counting, measuring, and describing the shapes of objects. It deals with logical reasoning and quantitative calculation, and its development has involved an increasing degree of idealization and abstraction of its subject matter. Since the 17th century, mathematics has been an indispensable adjunct to the physical sciences and technology, and in more recent times it has assumed a similar role in the quantitative aspects of the life sciences.
Physics, science that deals with the structure of matter and the interactions between the fundamental constituents of the observable universe. In the broadest sense, physics (from the Greek physikos) is concerned with all aspects of nature on both the macroscopic and submicroscopic levels. Its scope of study encompasses not only the behaviour of objects under the action of given forces, but also the nature and origin of gravitational, electromagnetic, and nuclear force fields. Its ultimate objective is the formulation of a few comprehensive principles that bring together and explain all such disparate phenomena.
The best video games involve using your imagination to solve problems. There is a great variety of video game genres. Personally, I like strategy video games. There is a type of strategy videogames called MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena). The MOBAs have been attracting my attention lately.
MOBA is a subgenre of strategy video games that originated as a subgenre of real-time strategy in which each player controls a single character, usually on a map in an isometric perspective, as part of a team competing against another team of players. The ultimate objective is to destroy the opposing team's main structure with the assistance of periodically-spawned computer-controlled units that march forward along set paths. MOBA is one of the most popular genres in eSports.
Electronic sports, or eSports, is a form of sport competition using video games. E-sports often takes the form of organized, multiplayer video game competitions, particularly between professional players, individually or as teams. Here is an interesting page that I found about eSports.
